Cylindrical furnaces are produced in two variants: up to 1300°C with heating spirals made of Kanthal A1 material and up to 1550°C with superkanthal ones heating modules. Furnaces have a vertical or horizontal arrangement, with an inner diameter 40-400 mm. They allow, for example, the insertion of an inner tube with samples and theirs testing in different atmospheres or reduced pressure. The heating modules can be stacked behind each other to construct furnaces of different lengths or the height of the heating zone. With regard to operator safety and long service life the heating spirals (for ovens up to an internal diameter of 100mm) are wound with a thick resistance wire KANTHAL A1 and fed through a transformer.
